From SkiChatter to SkiCademy

SkiChatter is evolving into SkiCademy — a modern skier development platform built to help recreational skiers achieve lasting progress through structured coaching, biomechanics, online education, and immersive on-snow experiences.

For six seasons SkiChatter has been a place to read about technique, training and equipment. It grew out of conversations on chairlifts and in the lodge, the kind where a skier says “I've been told that for years and it never made sense until now.”

Those conversations kept pointing at the same gap. There is no shortage of ski content. What's missing is a path: a way to know what to work on, in what order, and how to tell when it's working.

Why the change

SkiCademy is that path. It takes the same coaching that has trained Canada's ski instructors and lays it out stage by stage: build the body first, then learn the movement, take it on snow, and move up.

It runs on the season. Off-season fitness blocks in the Build phase, movement drills in Practice before the lifts open, on-snow lesson paths in Perform, and an end-of-season review in Reflect that tells you where your path goes next.

What happens to the articles

Every piece from SkiChatter is coming across, and new pieces will keep arriving weekly through the season. The opening of every article stays free to read. Members get the rest, along with the videos and podcast episodes behind it.

Thank you for reading this far with SkiChatter. The next chapter starts here.
