How it works

HOW IT WORKS

Your path, stage by stage.

Every SkiCademy path follows the same four steps: build understanding, practise the movement, perform with purpose, then reflect and decide what comes next.

  1. 1

    BUILD understanding

Learn what matters, why it matters, and what to focus on in this lesson.

    BuildsUnderstanding
  2. 2

    PRACTICE the movement

Use guided drills and exercises to develop movement quality, control, and consistency.

    BuildsControl
  3. 3

    PERFORM with purpose

Apply what you’ve learned in a practical task or on snow, at your level.

    BuildsConfidence
  4. 4

    REFLECT and progress

Review what worked, identify what needs attention, and choose your next step.

    BuildsAwareness

Confidence, control and comfort. One stage at a time.

FITNESS FIRST

Build the body before you build the skill.

Every ski technique asks something of your body: strength in the legs, stability through the core, mobility in the hips and ankles. Train those first, and the skill arrives faster and stays for good.

The order we work in
1First, build the body
Mobility

Open hips and ankles, so your body can reach the positions good skiing asks for.

Balance & stability

A core that stays quiet when the snow gets rough.

Strength & endurance

Legs that are as strong on the last run as the first.

2Then, build the skill
Movement patterns

Rehearse ski movements off snow until they're automatic.

Ski skills

Take the technique on snow with a body that's ready for it.

Confidence & flow

When the body isn't the limit, effort turns into ease.

THE SEASONAL SYSTEM

Your skiing has a season. Your development should too.

The year runs Build, Practice, Perform, Reflect, and every weekly lesson follows the same four steps. Join at any point without falling behind: you’ll always know which part of the season you’re in, and what this week’s lesson asks of you.

  1. 01BUILDBuild the body before you build the skill.

Off-season fitness: the mobility, stability and strength the season will ask of you.

  2. 02PRACTICELearn the movements before the lifts open.

Rehearse ski patterns off snow with simple drills until they feel automatic.

  3. 03PERFORMTake it on snow, stage by stage.

Follow your path on the mountain as confidence, control and comfort grow every day.

  4. 04REFLECTUnderstand what the season taught you.

Review what held, what slipped, and where your path goes next.
